Using the search engines of EconLibrary.com (economics, finance or accounting):

The search page appears as above.

There is a box for entering words to search by. You can enter one or more words (author names, words in titles, year, etc). There are three matching options available below the keyword box.

You can tell the search engine to match your entered search words to whole words in the database by checking the box, or tell it to search for any words in the database that contains the searched word(s) as part of larger words (e.g., searching for fix and unchecking the match box will yield records with fix, fixed, fixes, fixture, etc).

Using "match ALL" or the "Match ANY" you can tell the search engine to search for records that contain all words you entered in the search box or to search for records that contain any one, or more, of the words in the search box.

The journal list at the upper right allows you to narrow your search by specific journal(s). The default is to search for all journals. If you wish to restrict your search to a subset of journals, you can click on the individual journal names. To search by two or more, hold down the control key as you select various journals to search by. Generally, there is a limit of about eight to ten journals you can limit the search by. Selecting more than 8-10 journals may slow down the search to an extent that causes the search to fail.
